Back-Up Policy

1. Introduction

This Backup Policy outlines the procedures and responsibilities for data backup and restoration for Perpro’s SaaS application. The policy ensures the integrity, availability, and security of Customer data.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all data stored within the Perpro SaaS application, including but not limited to database records and website files.

​

3. Backup Schedule

  • Database Backup: All databases are backed up every three (3) days.

  • Website Files Backup: All website files are backed up twice a month.

​

4. Backup Storage

  • Backups are stored in secure, redundant storage locations to ensure data availability in case of system failures.

​

5. Data Retention

  • Database backups are retained for a period of 30 days.

  • Website files backups are retained for a period of 60 days.

​

6. Restoration of Data

  • Customers may request data restoration by contacting Perpro support.

  • Restoration requests will be processed as quickly as possible, typically within 48 hours.

  • A restoration fee may apply, depending on the complexity and size of the data to be restored. Customers will be informed of any applicable fees prior to the restoration process.

7. Customer Responsibilities

  • Customers are responsible for ensuring that they report any data issues or loss as soon as they are identified to facilitate timely restoration.

  • Customers should maintain their own local backups of critical data, where feasible, as an additional precaution.

8. Limitations

  • While Perpro takes reasonable measures to ensure the reliability of its backup systems, it does not guarantee the availability, accuracy, or completeness of backups.

  • Perpro is not liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from data loss, corruption, or the inability to restore data from backups. 

​

9. Policy Review and Updates

  • This Backup Policy is reviewed annually and updated as necessary to reflect changes in technology, legal requirements, and business practices.

  • Customers will be notified of significant changes to this policy via email or through announcements on the Perpro website.
